FA Cup sixth round replay: Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

Chelsea will face Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-finals, after securing a deserved 1-0 victory by courtesy of Demba Ba goal in the 49th minute.

Chelsea’s confidence has been shattered by an unexpected 2-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton, however they managed to shake off the disappointment and battle to a win over weakened United side. Demba Ba sent the ball pass De Gea after an excellent Mata’s pass in the 49th minute of the game.

Despite Manchester United desperately trying to turn events around, the Blues were closer to scoring the second goal with Mata’s effort denied by De Gea in the 89th minute.
