The FA to offer Beck a role

The Football Association chairman David Bernstein revealed that David Beckham may be offered a role at the influential organization.

Bernstein said that cooperation with Beckham may prove beneficial for the English football as a whole, as Beck is one of the most recognizable players in the world. “He is an asset that English football should treasure and I hope at some stage that perhaps The FA and David Beckham can get close together,” chairman said.

Beckham has announced that he will leave the Los Angeles Galaxy after hic contract expires at the end of the season. Several top clubs have already declared their interest in signing the 37 year-old midfielder.

It's funny, dozens and hundreds of players retire and turn into legends, but they say that Beck is a treasure, an "ambassador" to sport, football, style, beard .. whatever.. What about Zidane, Giggs, Maldini, aren't they ambassadors to sportsmanship??? Why does it always has to be Beckham??
