Fabio Capello met the RFU representatives

On Thursday Fabio Capello and representatives of Russian Football Union (RFU) held talks in Moscow concerning his possible appointment as a manager of the national team.

Vitaly Mutko informed the press that the coach visited the headquarters of the Russian Football Union and discussed there details of potential contract. The 66-year-old Italian claimed he is very interested in this position thus continuing his international managerial career.

The Russian Football Union made attempts to place Capello at this position after the World Cup 2010 yet he rejected the offer.

The coach is one on the list of 13 candidates for the post in Russia national team.
