Galatasaray eye Drogba swoop

Daily Mirror reports Turkish giants Galatasaray are in the driving seat to sign Shanghai Shenhua forward Didier Drogba with a view to strengthen their squad ahead of the Champions’ League clash against Schalke.

According to the recent reports Gala have agreed a transfer fee and are widely expected to complete the move in the next 24 hours days. 34-year-old Drogba is rumoured to put pen to paper on a year-and-a-half deal. Should the deal go through this will be the second high-profile Galatasaray signing of the season; Inter Milan out-of-favor playmaker Wesley Sneijder joined the club the last week.

Drogba has left Chelsea for Shanghai Shenhua just six months ago, however he is eager to leave due to the argument over finances with the Chinese side.
