Genoa defender Francelino Matuzalem is sidelined for several weeks

The Brazilian will miss Friday fixture against Milan.

Francelino Matuzalem moved to the Grifone from Lazio in January, yet the midfielder was haunted by injures since then and hardly appeared in the pecking order. Matuzalem will miss the important game against Massimiliano Allegri’s team on Friday as a result of a muscle problem.

The medical staff of the club will check the player tomorrow, determining how long the treatment can take.
