Hazard reckons Torres’ criticism is unfair

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard revealed he admires with the ability of his teammate Fernando Torres to handle constant criticism.

Since his switch to Stamford Bridge from Liverpool for £50 million, Torres has been subjected to the harsh criticism from the side of the fans and the pundits alike. His desire for the game is challenged every time he fails to score. It is probably due to the heavy weight of high expectations that he struggles to retain his impressive goal scoring form.

Hazard believes the Spain international deserves the credit for his attitude, as he continues delivering his best despite the criticism, and his goal scoring record this season shows he is on right track. The Belgian said: “I believe he is the most criticised player in the world. As soon as there is a bad match, it is his fault. He has missed opportunities, just like everyone else. He is always here trying. He has always got over blips and scored goals. That is really impressive. He is quite a reserved guy. He is in his own bubble.”
