Holland vs Romania: Van Gaal expects an open game
Holland boss Luis Van Gaal revealed he expects Romania to play an entertaining attacking football against his side and is determined to retain 100 per cent record.
Holland have secured five wins in their five matches of World Cup qualifying campaign and hope to reach move eight points clear at the expense of Romania. Van Gaal admitted Romania could pose a difficult challenge: “Romania is a difficult opponent. They play the same system as Estonia but with better individual players. So I expect they will produce something more in attack, creating more space for us in front of them.
“Romania defender Razvan Rat has confirmed his team is looking to try and outscore mighty Dutchmen in order to secure the chances of qualification from the second place. He said: “We will have to play well but a draw would be a good result for us. Therefore we will have to score at least once given the attacking force that Holland have.”
