Hummels is sidelined for several weeks

Borussia Dortmund defender sustained an ankle injury in the match against Schalke.

Germany international Mats Hummels will miss at least four weeks after picking up an injury in the derby against Schalke 04 that Borussia lost 2-1. Dortmund defense stalwart twisted his right ankle and was substituted at halftime, later the player was diagnosed with partial ligament tear.

“Mats Hummels will be out for several weeks,” the club informed and that means the player is likely to miss the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
