Inter Milan, Roma to bid for Santos goalie Rafael Cabral

Inter Milan and Roma are seriously considering the possibility of signing Santos goalkeeper Rafael.

The highly-rated 23-year-old Brazilian admitted he might have made his last Santos appearance after featuring in his club’s win over Atletico Mineiro on Wednesday. He said: “I honestly don’t know if this was my last game [for Santos]. But let’s see.”

Santos have not yet received an official approach for Rafael either from Inter or from Roma, but are ready to listen to any offers.

The Brazilian side’s vice-president Odilio Rodrigues said: “We know that those clubs are interested but we have received no offers. We heard about the interest but we have received nothing. We often receive offers, he is a player we trust a lot. If an offer comes, we will analyse it.”
