Inter unveils new forward Mateo Kovacic

The Croatian youngster was officially presented as the Nerazzurri player.

Mateo Kovacic signed a contract with the Italian side last week for a fee of €11m. The forward chose number 10 shirt in his new team, claiming the transfer was unexpected for him.

“I was a bit surprised. But I’m very proud and happy to be at a club such as this one, “ stated the youngster.

The teenager insisted that he is ready to compete for the place in the senior side, underlining: I really like the tactical side and I think I can offer a lot through the middle. I know Italian football is tough but I’ll get used to it.”
