Jazz Richards clinched a new deal with Swansea
Swansea City midfielder Jazz Richards committed his future to the club by signing a new three-year deal.
The Wales international’s previous deal was due to expire in summer however the club decided he plays an important role and extended his stay for up until 2016. Richards revealed he is happy to stay at the club: “I’m delighted to have signed a new contract at the club. Being a Swansea boy, I see my career at the club and I was very keen to commit my future to the Swans.”
Richards is yet to make Premier League appearance, as he was loaned out to Crystal Palace last summer. He added: “The plan is to finish the season strongly and try my best to get Palace into the Premier League. Then I’ll return to Swansea and look to impress Michael Laudrup enough to be involved regularly in his first-team plans.”
