John terry is found not guilty of racial abuse

The verdict of the court stated that no witnesses of Terry using racially connected terms were found.

The allegations of Anton Ferdinand on Terry offending him mentioning the color of his skin were not proved in the court.

The incident happened last October as Chelsea and QPR were playing at Loftus Park and Terry insulted Ferdinand during the match.

After the ruling was announced Terry did not talk to the press, yet yesterday claimed that he was angry at suggestions that he might be a racist.

Dozens of fans and supporters gathered outside the court building to support the player and welcomed his appearance with cheering and applause.
