Jürgen Klopp: “We cannot afford Falcao”

Borussia Dortmund coach is reluctant to spend fortunes on high-profile players

Jürgen Klopp claimed Borussia will continue developing the home-grown players instead of spending huge amounts of money on transfers, stating:“For us, it makes a lot more sense and is more exciting to observe how 19-year-olds turn into double winners”. The manager added: “we would like to purchase Falcao, but we cannot afford him.”

Commenting on the race for Bundesliga title Klopp claimed:”No other team can take the championship away from Bayern, they can only lose it themselves.”
