Juventus, Atletico Madrid to make a swoop for Arsenal Podolski

Arsenal face battle to retain their forward Podolski, with a host of top European clubs including Juventus, Atletico Madrid prepared to try and land the German in summer.

Podolski has scored 13 goals for his club this season, but fell out of favour with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. The Frenchman is believed to be dissatisfied with the German’s attitude and his dropped work rate.

Podolski has only recently joined the Gunners from Cologne for £10.9 million. However Arsenal are struggling at the moment and are facing the prospect of ending their eighth consecutive season without silverware. Should the London side fail to qualify for Champions League next season Podolski may opt to move Italy of Spain. Juventus are considered to be the favourites to secure the services of the 27-year-old forward.
