Atletico Madrid moved closer to second-placed Real Madrid after claiming a narrow 1-0 win over Sevilla at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuan.

Radamel Falcao showed again why he is topping the wish list of numerous top European sides by earning a 1-0 victory over the struggling Sevilla side in a close-fought game. Falcao beat the offside trap to convert the Raul Garcia’s cross in the 76th minute of the game. Atletico Madrid retain viable chances of securing the Champions League spot.
