Latest transfer rumours: Real Madrid to offload Higuain in summer

Los Blankos refuse to pay a higher salary to the Argentine.

The 25-year-old player of the Capital side Gonzalo Higuain has an ongoing deal with the side till 2016, yet the forward deamands a pay rise as Higuain earns €3.5m annually, while his partner Karim Benzema gets €5m. The Argentine was promised a new agreement last summer, yet the club officials seem to change their minds and consider selling the player in summer.

Higuain stayed in Real for six and a half years, scoring 102 goals in 181 La Liga matches.
