Latest transfer rumours: Sebastian Rode is on Bayern radar

Eintracht Frankfurt young star Sebastian Rode caught attention of Bundesliga leaders.

The German international played an important role in the rise of Eintracht as the Eagles are fighting for the Champions League spot. The midfielder whose contract with the team expires in 18 months claimed that he knows about the interest from Munich side, yet insisted that the talks are on hold till the end of the season.

“The big interest is known to me. I’ll keep my feet firmly on the ground and not start dreaming. Eintracht Frankfurt and I have agreed to postpone the talks so I can focus on my football,” stated Rode.

The player joined Frankfurt-based side from third league team Kickers Offenbach in 2010.
