Laudrup set to postpone contract negotiations with Swansea

Laudrup set to postpone contract negotiations with Swansea

Sky Sports informs Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is willing to put contract talks on hold until summer.

The 48-year-old Dane is enjoying an excellent first season in charge of the Swans, leading them to the first major cup final. Laudrup has the Welsh side flying high (they are currently finding themselves in the 8th spot) coercing his critics into silence.

Recent speculations have linked Laudrup with move to Real Madrid and Chelsea, but he revealed he does not wish to talk over his future at the moment. He said: “I think for me the present is more important than the future, we have so many things coming up now and I already have a contract for next season so it is not urgent for me.”
