Lazio interested in Balzaretti and Xandao

As the squad of the capital club is undergoing a major transformation Balzaretti and Xandao are two likely signings of the club.

Lazio manager Vladimir Petkovic wants to strengthen the defensive line of the team and Palermo player Balzaretti is the first transfer target for Lazio. The player performed brilliantly in the Euro 2012 and will probably leave his current team for other top Italian side this summer.

Xandao is owned by Desportivo Brasil though played on loan in Sporting Lisbon last season. The estimated fee for a defender will be around €3 million.

The Biancocelesti already signed Ederson from Lyon and negotiate over Milos Krasic from Juventus.
