Lewandowski in talks with Bayern

Lewandowski in talks with Bayern

Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski is looking to join Bayern Munich, his agent revealed.

Asked whether Lewandowski could be making a switch to recently crowned Champions League winners, agent Cezary Kucharski answered: “Yes. Robert will join Bayern this summer. There is no point in pretending that he will not move to Bayern. Robert wants to leave and that is what will happen.

The 24-year-old tireless striker is in the talks with the Bayern’s representatives and is expected to sign a deal with the German giants within several weeks. Agent has also stated main reason of Pole’s decision to move is his desire to face a new challenge. Kucharski stated: “It is a matter of time. It could be a done deal within a week or within two to three weeks. We are waiting for a signal from the club. We are working on this deal. Robert will join Bayern this summer. There is no point in pretending that he will not move to Bayern. Robert wants to leave and that is what will happen.”

Lewandowski himself aid nothing about his plans after his side suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bundesliga arch rivals Bayern Munich in Champions League final. Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes, who is on course of leaving the club in summer, however has recently hinted at the possible move of Pole to Allianz Arena.

Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the prolific forward, but it looks like the German giants are set to steal the player from under their noses.
