Liverpool to bid for Inter Milan Cassano

Liverpool are weighting up a possibility of bringing Inter Milan hitman Antonio Cassano to Anfield, should their striker Luis Suarez leave the club for Bayern Munich.

The recent speculations have linked the prolific Uruguayan forward with a move to German giants, as new boss Pep Guardiola is looking to reshape the squad. Antonio Cassano is believed to be on the verge of leaving the club after having a bust-up with Inter Milan boss Andrea Stramaccioni at the training session.

Stramaccioni dropped the 30-year-old Italy international from the first squad for the Serie A encounter against Catania.

Suarez is keen on a move to Germany, but Liverpool are reluctant to part ways with their best forward. The player has scored six goals in his last three games and his hat-trick against Wigan increased his goal-scoring record this season to 28 goals.
