Liverpool to bid for Malaga Iturra

Daily Express states Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is hot on the trail of Malaga highly-rated playmaker Manuel Iturra.

The Reds have been experiencing lack of creativity in the middle of the pitch and Iturra could prove a solution to this problem. The 28-year-old Chile international is likely to part ways with the club in summer as he wants a new challenge. Malaga in turn plans to offload him in a bid to cope with the financial crysis. That said the deal could be favorable for both sides. However La Ligs side is unlikely to settle for anything less than £3 million.

Iturra has made 18 first-team starts this season.
