Liverpool completes the transfer for Assaidi
Liverpool has agreed a deal with Heerenveen and Moroccan international, Assaidi, will leave his current club for Liverpool. Now he is about to have a medical in Melwood.
Oussama Assaidi has spent his playing career in the Dutch leagues and at international level he has played for Morocco, though he is eligible to play for the Netherlands and Morocco.
Some European clubs had an eye on Assaidi and it is known that he was wanted by Ajax, Spartak Moscow and Galatasaray.
The 24-year-old is the third Liverpool’s signing as their boss Brendan Rodgers has recently signed a midfielder Joe Allen from Swansea and Italian forward Fabio Borini from Roma.
He said that he wanted to get one or two players more and he was looking forward for deals with Real Madrid’s Nuri Sahin and Cristian Tello from Barcelona.
