Liverpool confirmed signing Aspas from Celta Vigo

Liverpool have officially confirmed they have completed signing of striker Iago Aspas from Celta Vigo for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old Spaniard, who netted 12 goals in 25 La Liga appearances this season and helped Celta avoiding relegation, has successfully passed his medical on Sunday. He put pen to paper on a long-term contract, with the details yet to be unveiled by the club.

It is believed that Aspas, who is third Liverpool signing of the season, has made a switch to Anfield for around £7.7 million.
