Liverpool Luis Suarez is wanted by Napoli boss Benitez

Former Liverpool manager, who has recently taken charge of Napoli, turned his attention to Luis Suarez with a view to replace Edinson Cavani.

Benitez considers controversial forward to be a perfect replacement for an in-demand Cavani, who has been linked with a move to host of clubs, including Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid. Napoli boss is unlikely to part ways with highly-rated Uruguayan for less than £50million and that could fund the move for Suarez.

Suarez himself has set his sights on leaving Anfield, as he is disappointed with media hype surrounding his life in Liverpool. However Liverpool bad boy could be reluctant to move to Napoli, as he has recently reiterated his desire to join Real Madrid.

It is to be recalled that it is Suarez’s crazy behavior that prevented him from winning PFA Player of the Year award, as he was banned for 10 games for biting Ivanovic in the game against Chelsea. The Uruguayan has been by far the best Liverpool player this season, scoring 23 goals in 33 Premier League games.
