Liverpool target Lyon Lovren

Daily Mail reports Liverpool are seriously considering the possibility of bringing Lyon centre-back Dejan Lovren to the Anfield.

The 23-year-old Croatia international is held in high regard among the fans and the coaching staff. Lovren has made 13 Ligue 1 appearances scoring one goal and setting up another one. However Liverpool will face stiff competition from the side of Everton and Chelsea who are also interested in securing the services of the young player.

Meanwhile Fiorentina are believed to be preparing a move for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, whose career at Anfield stalled due to series of injuries.
