Malaga to appeal to UEFA

The Spanish club complain about the decisions of the referee in the match against Dortmund.

Malaga chief Vicente Casado claimed that La Liga side will file an official complaint to UEFA over Craig Thomson’s actions in the Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund. The Boquerones are furious over Felipe Santana’s offside-goal that made the score 3-2 in the match and allowed the Germans to progress further.

“We will file an official complaint to UEFA over the referee. It’s a shame that in the quarter-finals of the Champions League the referee is not of the level that the players and the fans deserve, both from Malaga and Borussia Dortmund,” Casado told reporters.
