Man City Guidetti rules out PSV move

Manchester City forward John Guidetti has dismissed speculations linking him with a part-exchange move for PSV Jetro Willems.

Guidetti has been loaned out to Feyenoord on a season-long deal. The Swede said that Rotterdam club is the only one he would like to play for in the Netherlands. Latest rumours suggested Man City may be willing to offer the 20-year-old forward as a makeweight in a deal to land PSV defender Jetro Willems.

Despite joining Man City back in 2010, the player has not made a single first-team appearance since Carling Cup outing against West Brom in September, 2011. He has had spells with Brommapojkarna in Sweden, Burnley and Feyenoord in Netherlands.

He has missed the large part of 2011-2012 season due to virus, which has deprived him of an outside chance of taking part in Euro 2012 with his national side. However he returned to full fitness this season and is continuing his development.

Asked if he would like to join PSV, GUidetti said: “I will never, ever play for PSV. In the Netherlands, Feyenoord are the only club I would want to play for. Everyone knows that.”
