Man Utd eye Benfica Garay

Man Utd eye Benfica Garay

uk.eurosport.yahoo.com reports that Man Utd coach Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to add Benfica’s defender Ezequiel Garay to his squad in order to bolster their backline.

According to the recent reports Man Utd are looking for the replacement to their veteran defender Rio Ferdinand who may be leaving the club this summer. The 34 year-old player is reportedly considering all the options available to him and may be willing either to move to one of the Chinese clubs or to retire from football at the end of the season.

Fergie sees £15 million-rated Benfica’s defender Ezequiel Garay to be a perfect replacement to Ferdinand. However Man Utd are said to face stern competition from Juventus.
