Manchester City confirm duo Álvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetić to join the club

Manchester City have continued strenghtening the squad in a bid to get back the Premier League title and confirmed the arrival of two strikers Álvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetić to the Etihad stadium from Sevilla and Fiorentina respectively.

Sheikh Mansour had to cash in around £50 million for the duo. The Spaniard has already passed a medical while the Montenegrin is still to formalize his move. The players will provide tough competition for Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and John Guidetti in the attacking line as Manuel Pellegrini now has fine goal-scoring options to beat the main rivals United.

Earlier on this summer City have secured the signing of midfielders Fernandinho and Jesús Navas.
