Manchester City sign a new deal with Kompany

Vincent Kompany agreed to sign a new contract with the Citizens, claiming on the official website of the club: ‘For me if it feels good somewhere then I see no reasons to leave. Man City as a project is not just a creation of the owners and the people employed by the club; it is my project as well.’

The player explained that he had been in the team since the changes began; he believed he made contribution himself.

The defender was confident the platform for the future victories of the team was built this season, adding ‘we can be one of the most successful clubs for a long time and that is the aim. I can’t wait to get started again. I am really excited about the upcoming season.”
