Manchester United’s captain Vidic will be out for two months
Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has undergone a knee surgery this week and will be out for about eight weeks, according to the club’s official website.
Vidic skipped Premier League Sunday’s match, having complained of tightness in his knee. Last season the 30-year-old Serbian missed the final five months with knee ligament problems.
United have not an easy time without defenders Phil Jones and Chris Smalling and they will go without their captain for about two months.
