Messi breaks the records

Barca striker wrote his name into the history books one more time.

The Argentinian forward netted four goals in a 5-1 win against Osasuna on Sunday becoming the first player in the Spanish championship to score in 11 successive games and the youngest footballer in Spain to net more than 200 times in the top flight. Currently the forward is one the league’s top scorers with the record of 32 goals.

In an interview to the Argentinian press after the game Messi claimed he was happy to be at Barca, stating: “In Barca dressing room where we are all very similar, because of who we are and our education both at the club and elsewhere”.

The striker was clear about the priorities he has for a season: “I hope for what I always strive: for this season to be better than last and to keep going in the same direction”.
