Michu injury worry for Swansea

Swansea forward Michu has limped off with an ankle ligament injury during the scoreless draw between Reading and Swansea City.

The Spanish forward is to be assessed by the medical staff in order to discover the seriousness of the injury. Should Michu be ruled out with a long-term injury, this will hit hard Swansea, as currently he leads team’s scoring charts with 13 goals.

However Swansea coach Michael Laudrup remains optimistic. “Hopefully it is not too bad. It is not a muscle injury but still we have to be careful. He has to be 100 per cent,” said the Dane.
