Monaco to bid for Man City Tevez

Monaco to bid for Man City Tevez

Moneybags Monaco are seriously considering the possibility of landing Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

Tevez has a year remaining on his contract, however may be willing to leave the club, after the sacking of Roberto Mancini.

Monaco’s owner Russian billionare Dmitry Rybolovlev has already launched an ambitious £50million bid for Atletico Madrid prolific striker Radamel Falcao and planning to secure the services of the 30-year-old Argentinian as well. Newcastle’s Yohan Cabaye, Porto’s Joao Moutinho and PSG’s centre-back Mamadou Sakho are also among Rybolovlev’s transfer targets.

It is likely that Monaco will struggle to lure highest-profile players to join the club, that has just recently won promotion, however Rybolovlev’s intention to invest heavily in new signings means the club can live up its expectations of reaching Champions League qualification next season.
