Montpellier Belhanda states Premier League ambition

Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda admitted he would like to move either to England or Germany, should the decent offer come in.

The 23-year-old Morocco international has been considered the rising star and was linked with a swoop to the several Premier League sides, including Tottenham and Arsenal. Both London clubs have been put on alert afterBelhanda said he wants a new challenge. Playmaker has two years left on his contract, but he revealed the interest in his services is increasing.

Asked if he plans to stay in Montpellier neчt season, he replied: “Next season? I don’t know. I have contacts but nothing concrete. I want to go to England or Germany. I believe I am made for that football, both physical and technical with a lot of risks.

“My wish is to play in the Champions League next season, but I could sign for a club with big history. I will not learn anything else in France. I know how we play here. I need a new mentality, new excitement.”
