New Juventus kit with no stars
Juventus launched their 2012/2013 home and away kits.
The club from Turin presented kits for the forthcoming season designed by Nike and featuring the new main sponsor of the club and words ’30 sul campo’ under the badge honoring the triumph in Scudetto last year.
The motto of Giampiero Boniperti ‘Winning isn’t important, what matters is written inside the collar, while the traditional stars do not appear on the kit any more due to dispute between the team and Italian Football Federation on the number of titles held by Juve. The club’s authorities claim the team won 30 honors of the top flight. The federation cancelled the titles won in the seasons 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 because of match fixing scandal the team was involved in.
The president of the club insists that the side from Turin were crowned serie A winners 30 times and does not agree with the decision.
Juventus received its first star in 1958, the second appeared in 1982. The third one is not there yet, although it will definitely rise one day.
