Newcastle Cabaye out until January

Sky Sports reports Newcastle United 26 year-old midfielder Yohan Cabaye is to undergo a surgery due to the damaged groin injury.

Frenchman’s injury is a huge blow for The Magpies, as Cabaye was instrumental in several important Newcastle wins last year. This season Cabaye has made 10 appearances for his club, scoring two goals and making one assist.

Currently Newcastle cannot boast the excellent form which has helped them to finish at the fifth spot last season and occupy the 12th position in the Premier League table.
