Newcastle Gouffran’s injury is not serious

Sky Sports informs that Yoan Gouffran could soon be back in training as X-rays cleared him of any broken bones.

Gouffran has left the field on a stretcher during Newcastle’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Tottenham on Saturday after the challenge with Kyle Walker. Newcastle boss Alan Pardew feared his forward has broken the leg but the fears have not panned out. Pardew said: That’s all good news, fortunately. We think he’ll train on Monday.”
