No major signings for Liverpool in winter

Goal.com states Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers does not plan to make any major signings in the January transfer window.

Rodgers is said to have realistic attitude towards the perspective of strengthening the team in the January. While the first and most important concern of Rodgers – lack of transfer funds, the second – lack of quality players on the transfer market in winter.

Brendan Rodgers stressed that Liverpool management is willing to see whether the team is able to challenge for a European spot in its current condition.
