Norwich boss Hughton believes new-boys could make a decisive impact

Sky Sports states that Norwich boss Chris Hughton is determined the new signings brought in during January transfer window could help the club staying away from the relegation zone.

Although Norwich ambitious attempts of signing Sporting Lisbon’s striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Celtic’s hitman Gary Hooper failed, Hughton believes arrival of Luciano Becchio from Leeds and Kei Kamara on loan from Kansas City is enough to meet the club’s season expectations and stay in the top flight.

He said: “This season for us was always going to be a difficult one after last season, but if we can keep chiselling away and, looking at the players who have come in, generally I’ve been delighted with them.”
