Nottingham Forest owners are in search for a new manager

The owners of Nottingham Forest Al-Hasawi family want to hire an ‘iconic manager’ with a good understanding of Championship and Mick McCarthy is one of the favorites.

Spokesman of Nottingham Forrest claimed that the club was negotiating with Mick MacCarthy about the potential appointment for managerial position.

The previous head coach Steve Cotterill left the team two days after Nottingham had been bought by Al-Hasawi family.

The businessmen from Kuwait pledged to return the club to the Premier League. Recently at a press conference the new owners claimed that held talks with Mick McCarty former Sunderland and Wolves coach underlying that he is one of the candidates. One of the owners Abdulaziz al-Hasawi added that the team needs a manager who has an understanding how to develop the club and to inspire the squad.

The other contenders for the place are reportedly Darren Ferguson and Roy Keane.
