Premier League Matchday 29 preview: Queens Park Rangers vs Sunderland

Premier League Matchday 29 preview: Queens Park Rangers vs Sunderland

Sunderland are finding themselves just six points off the relegation zone and they have to beat the bottom-dwellers Queens Park Rangers in order to keep up with the expectations of reaching the mid-table safe position this season. However taking into account the Black Cats’ recent lack of consistency this will not be an easy task, as the Rangers will look to build on their crucial 2-1 win over Southampton.

QPR team news:

The arrival of Christopher Samba has made a significant impact on QPR defense, as the back four do not look as shaky as they did in previous Premier League games. Julio Cesar is set to miss the clash against Sunderland, with Robert Green taking his place between the sticks. Bobby Zamora has returned into the first-team following his long-term absence due to injury.

Sunderland team news:

Martin O’Neil has not made changes to his side that drew 2-2 against Fulham a week ago. Danny Rose and Matthew Kilgallon became available for selection, as they recovered from injuries.
