Proposed Ronaldinho’s move to Besiktas ridiculed by player's agent

Ronaldinho’s agent Assis laughed away the suggestion the Atletico Mineiro striker could be interested in a move to Turkish outfit Besiktas.

Earlier this week Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi admitted they were seriously considering the possibility of landing the former Barcelona and Milan player in summer. However the 33-year-old Brazilian has a year remaining on his contract with Atletico Mineiro and wants to see it out before deciding on his future.

Ronaldinho’s agent Assis moved in to ridicule the rumours his client may even seriously consider such a transfer. He said: “That possibility doesn’t exist, are you crazy? It looks like a joke. Was it reported on one of those crazy sites? It doesn’t exist, it’s crazy talk.”
