QPR chase WBA Olsson

According to Daily Mirror Queens Park Rangers are hot on the trail of 29-year-old West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp is reportedly prepared to offer around £5million in an attempt to land the Sweden international. Olsson will be subject to a £4million release clause come the summer and Redknapp hopes WBA prefer to cash in now. Olsson’s excellent form has seen him watched by Arsenal scouts.

Harry is desperate to strengthen the Rangers’ sloppy defensive line to help the club avoid the relegation. He has made a formal inquiry as regards the transfer fee of Tottenham William Gallas
