QPR target Carvalho

A Bola states that new QPR coach Harry Redknapp wants to sign 34 year-old Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho with a view to strengthen the defensive line of the bottom-dwelling club.

The transfer of Ricardo Carvalho could be favorable for both sides. Carvalho has spent fair share of the season on the bench (he made one Copa del Rey appearance this season) and could welcome the opportunity to play in The Rangers’ first team. From another side the experience of veteran defender could add confidence and composure to sloppy QPR defense.
