QPR target Liverpool Joe Cole

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has expressed the desire to bring out-of-favored Liverpool experienced midfielder Joe Cole to the Loftus Road.

Redknapp sees the 31-year-old as the ideal signing as he looks to strengthen his squad in January. However Cole’s wage demands are likely to be the stumbling block. “I’d like to bring Joe here if I can but the deal would have to be right for the club,” said Harry. “We couldn’t do a deal as it [Cole’s wages] is at Liverpool. I’ll have to speak to Brendan Rodgers. We’ll have a chat when the time’s right.”

Cole has made just 6 appearances scoring one goal this season.

Relegation threatened QPR find themselves lying at the 20th place with just 10 points from 20 games.
