Radamel Falcao: ’I am physically well and keen to restart’

The striker is looking forward to start a new season.

As Atlético is heading to the South America where on 1 August the Spanish team will play against Atlético Nacional in the city of Medellín, Colombia, Falcao is excited to come to his home town. The player says: ‘Medellín is a great city, a very footballing city, and I am sure they’ll fill the whole stadium, they like football so much. Atlético Nacional is a great Colombian side; it will be an exciting match’.

Falcao claimed that his first priority was to come back on the field with Atlético, explaining that: ’for every player, always, the most significant thing is to be playing; sometimes you get bored with so much training.’

After the match in Colombia the Spanish side heads towards Costa Rica to play against CD Saprissa, in San José.
