Real Madrid chase Tottenham Walker

Real Madrid are lining up a summer move for Totteham full-back Kyle Walker.

The Spanish giants have been monitoring the development of the 22-year-old defender for year and a half. The Meringues’ boss Jose Mourinho decided that the player is good enough for the pacey La Liga style and is set to make an offer in summer. However the Spurs are unlikely to settle for anything less than £15million as the player has signed a five-year deal just a year ago.

It is believed there is an informal ‘first option’ agreement on available players at the other club between two sides.

Mourinho considers Walker to be an ideal replacement to ageing defender Alvaro Arbeloa.
