Rio Ferdinand considering his options

Daily Mail informs that Man Utd centre back Rio Ferdinand will announce the decision as regards his future in January.

Ferdinandhas been out of contention for several months due to back injury and has even seriously considered the option of retiring from football. However Man Utd coach Sir Alex Ferguson has repeatedly urged Ferdinand to continue his career at the Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are expected to offer the 34 year-old new one-year deal, with several Middle East and USA clubs are rumored to be preparing bids for the defender.
